Learning Commons Language Support offers opportunities for bet36365体育 students, faculty, and staff to improve their speaking proficiency in Japanese and Spanish.
Language Tables are weekly group sessions that are designed to help students build confidence in learning to speak a new language. Native and non-native speakers guide students in fun activities and games centered on building conversational proficiency, as well as pronunciation and vocabulary mastery, in a relaxed and peer-centered environment. All are welcome to attend the Language Tables, though topics will align with course material in many cases.

One-on-one conversation partner appointments allow students to practice speaking a language with a native speaker in a casual setting. Conversation partners for Japanese, Spanish, French, & Italian are available both in-person and on Zoom. To schedule an appointment, please submit an Appointment Request Form, call the Learning Commons Welcome Desk at 308-865-8905, or stop by the Welcome Desk in person in University Residence North (URN).
